Mother Earth News
I have read "Mother Earth News" for over 30 years. When I was first married with a house of kids, it helped us with a small farm and how to live with the earth-leaving it unharmed, better than we found it. It taught me to raise dairy goats and we sold milk to families. The chickens they taught me to care for helped to pay bills with their eggs. My kids are grown, but they still sit and laugh at the old stories of the pigs, chickens, cows and rabbits we raised. They grew up strong and became survivors! To plant a vegetable garden is second nature, and they still look for my dewberry jam for a bite of summer in the long cold months of winter. I can't thank "Mother Earth News" enough for all the wonderful information that pulled my family thru some real hard times and turned a city girl like me into an Earth Mother. We continue to try to live with the earth, to be as green as possible. I hope many people read, learn, and enjoy like my husband and I did.

Inpired Living / A fresh perspective
I love this magazine. Though I currently live in the suburbs, I have found the articles to be relevant to my interest in living "off the grid." I have learned a lot about farming (which is more work that I imagined.) I also have gained an appreciation of the art & science of sustainable living.
