Generally I read the magazine page by page, and always mark items, such as new recipes or tips, for later reference. This is one of the magazines that I keep around after reading and don't dump in the recycle bin.

Unlike many magazines that run out of new topics, RS seems able to keep topics fresh. Even topics that have been covered in the past have updated, new useful information. I'm an athlete and nutrionist dead set on getting away from my grandparents cooking habits of high fat and starch foods. RS's recipies are fantatic. The day after each addition I'm wandering the isles of local [...] for ingredients.

A friend gave gave me their free subscription years ago to Real Simple. I fell in love with the very first issue I received. The layout and content is quite artistic for a seemingly "everyday" lifestyle magazine. Sadly, the subscription ran out and I became very busy with a move. It was 1.5 years later where I yearned for the recipes and guidance Real Simple had to offer. For some reason, I tried a different magazine though. It was full of nothing but anti-depressant ads, tampon promotions, and maybe a few recipes. (Keep in mind the recipes were 1/4 the size of the Cymbalta ads.) Now I've return to Real Simple and couldn't be more happy. Btw, the magazine is appealing to men too. Nothing wrong with female focused magazines but hey, men like to cook and organize too!!!

I've been reading Real Simple for at least five years, and I've never regretted it. A few years ago, it went through a bit of a format change, and I was sad to see some good departments go. But today's Real Simple still holds up as a reference for organization, daily tasks and life situations, and it doesn't talk down to you. The step-by-step guides are great.

This is an amazing magazine. From money-saving tips to organizational guides, this magazine has it all. It appeals to people of all ages (except children, really). I subscribe to several magazines and this is by far my favorite. I always rip out pages I find useful, interesting, or informative so I can scan them and save them for later - and with Real Simple I find myself keeping a lot more than I'm throwing out.

I like this magazine because it has a lot of useful tips. I also like the bookmark in every issue. It's slightly bigger than other magazines so it doesn't fit well in all of my tote bags. I like it and I'd recommend it to my firends & family.

Its a great and thuro magazine. It covers info on a lot of little things, even stuff you don't find in other mags. Unfortunately it seems to be written for a mother of children, I wish it would taylor to a younger/single crowd sometimes.

Real Simple is my new "get well" "enjoy your retirement" or "take care of yourself" gift. Instead of sending flowers that will be gone in a week, I like to send this magazine. It helps people know you are thinking of them and want them to reduce their stress by living more simply.
